This is the stance taken by many clubs throughout the country as the return of fans brought opposition to the Black Lives Matter movement.
Since the killing of George Floyd in America earlier this year, which sparked worldwide support for the BLM movement, many athletes have been taking the knee before competing.
The symbolic action has been applauded by those who have suffered racist abuse during their sporting careers.
At the weekend however, a number of fans from Millwall and Colchester United booed their players when they took the knee before the game which has sparked outrage amongst those in the football community.
