“Printing money” reaction from social media to Constitution Hill’s emphatic victory in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham Festival

The fourth race of the Cheltenham Festival has concluded with Constitution Hill (4/11) striding home to a phenomenal victory in the Unibet Champion Hurdle Challenge Trophy under jockey Nico de Boinville.

It’s been an emphatic start to day one of racing at the Cheltenham Festival, but it was always leading up to this. All eyes were on the 15:30 Unite Champion Hurdle, where all the hype surrounding Constitution Hill was proven right.

Nicky Henderson’s horse was by far the horse with the largest backing on the first day of the event, with the previous domination from the horse giving punters confidence that this was the easiest bet that they’d ever make.

In truth, it was never in doubt during the race, with de Boinville in total control throughout.

Following on from the victory, Park Life Sport took a look at some of the reaction on Twitter following the race.

There were some questions afterwards surrounding how Constitution Hill could be beaten… But all answers to that question seem to require a set of wheels.

Others took to social media to emphasise just how simple it was to empty the bookies’ pockets… Even if that does only come around once in a while.
