Cheltenham Town travel to Highbury stadium tonight as they take on 14th placed Fleetwood Town in a exciting clash.
Both teams come into the fixture five games unbeaten each with Fleetwood picking up three wins from five.
Ahead of tonight’s fixture, The 24 year old winger Jordan Thomas expressed that preparation will be key ahead of tricky opposition.
“We have games coming thick and fast, so we got to try to prepare ourselves as much as possible, get as much out of the training ground. It’s really important to us.”
Reflecting on the game against Barrow, Thomas was determined to ensure a better team performance.

“There were quite a few individuals who probably didn’t play our best performance wise. We were glad to get the point in the end but it wasn’t enough for our standards and we set high standards.”
Thomas was reintroduced to the squad and spoke on his return.
“You want to play as much games as possible and contribute as much to the team as you can. It’s really important now we kick on and make sure we can climb up the table. That’s what its all about.
The winger discussed Fleetwood’s players and how they plan to set up.
“We know they have got some good individuals , they possess a style of play that hopefully we can try to stop. We need to focus on our game and make sure we perfect what we’re good at.”
When asked about Steve Cotteril’s arrival, Thomas discussed the impact the manager has made six months into the job.
“He’s had a really positive impact, he’s improved every part of my game both attacking and defence. He gives you little tips and detail, the tactical stuff aswell as the technical stuff is really important. He works on individuals and hes very intelligent with his tactical side of the game too.
I’ve learned a lot under him so far and I want to keep learning every day from him.”
Cheltenham will attempting to close the gap on Shrewsbury in 17th, Kick off 19:45 at the Highbury stadium.
