Paul Collicutt’s Bishop’s Cleeve are travelling down to Cullompton to face Willand Rovers tomorrow afternoon.
The sides are separated by two points in the league where a win for Bishops Cleeve mean they leapfrog the opposition and jump to 8th if the results go their way.
The Mitres away form this season has not been up to scratch, only managing one win across last eight away games in the league.
Collicutt recognises that this fixture for his side will be tough.
‘’We all know they beat us early on and their record is very good at home, it’s going to be difficult as they’re big and physical’’.
Bishop Cleeve’s boss recognised the quality of Rovers last time out.
‘’We weren’t at our strongest, we under performed but they were very strong, and they got Owen Howe who is very good’’.
Having lost 4-0 last time out, Collicutt will be searching for all three points coming 5pm tomorrow, and the Mitres feel prepared to make it happen.
‘’My lads are really up for it and we’re confident that we can do it’’.
With eight games left to play, mathematically the Gloucestershire side’s hope for play-offs is still in reach.
Currently sitting 13th in the league Bishop’s Cleeve are only five points away from the 5th position Bristol Manor Farm, showing us how close the Southern League South is this season.
Collicutt told ‘’Ask me at 10 to five tomorrow’’ whether the play-offs are still possible for his side.
