Park Life Sport Live Blog: Cheltenham Festival Day Two – Langer Dan wins Coral Cup Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase to come

Hello and welcome to Park Life Sport’s live blog of the day’s sporting news, including day two at Cheltenham Festival.

The highlight of the day’s racing will be the Betway Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase, at 15:30. Last year’s winner Energumene will be running again this year, although Edwardstone is many bookmakers’ favourite to win.

In total, there will be seven races, with the first – The Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle Race – scheduled to start at 13:30.

Day two is of course Ladies Day, so many in attendance will be dressed in their best, although mindful of the rain expected this afternoon.

Elsewhere, we will bring you reaction to last night’s UEFA Champions League action, after Erling Haaland scored five in Manchester City’s 7-0 win over RB Leipzig, as well as looking ahead to this evening’s fixtures.

Liverpool come into their second leg tie against Real Madrid looking to overturn a three-goal deficit, after a suffering a 5-2 defeat to Los Blancos at Anfield three weeks ago.
