Honeysuckle has claimed victory in her final race of her career, as the sheer class of four-time winner Rachel Blackmoore was shown.
Speaking to ITV Racing after the historic race, Blackmore was emotional and didn’t have much to say: “The way Henry has produced her every day is just phenomenal.
“As a jockey, I am just so grateful… She’s just a phenomenal mare for my career.”

Soon after the race, trainer Henry De Bromhead spoke about the happy ending to her career, he said was a chuckle: “It’s a fairytale ending as you know… well I presume it’s the ending.
“Today, it’s incredible… she’s an incredible mare… we’ve had so much fun.”
