Hartpury University face Erith & Belvedere as they hunt for Wembley glory in the FA VASE

Hartpury University are only two wins away from Wembley and Erith & Belvedere will be in their way to stop them in the quarter-finals of the Isuzu FA Vase Trophy.

Renato Prifti scored a last minute winner for the Acorns after they defeated South East London side VCD Athletic in Crayford on Saturday as their incredible run shows no sign of stopping.

Their opponents the Deres beat Faversham and White & Ensign and Daventry on penalties in their other ties to progress to the quarter finals

Before the 2024/25 season, the University had never progressed further than the fourth round in their previous two attempts in the tournament having lost to Nailsea & Tickenham and Falmouth Town both by a scoreline of 2-0.

All of Hartpury’s victories have been by 1-0 having defeated East Cowes Victoria Athletic, Wells City, Fareham Town and VCD Athletic to make their way to the last eight.

The other sides in the tournament alongside them are Whitchurch Alport, Bourne Town, Heanor Town, Andover New Street, AFC Whyteleafe, Erith & Belvedere and Whitstable Town.

Aside from the FA Vase, Hartpury University currently sit top of the Hellenic League Premier Division after 27 games sitting three points clear of Mangotsfield United while also playing four games fewer.

Andover New Street vs Heanor Town

AFC Whyteleafe vs Bourne Town
