England overcame Italy to win their second game in the Arnold Clark Cup courtesy of a Rachel Daly brace at the CBS arena.
In front of a bumper crowd in excess of 32,000 in Coventry, Daly opened the scoring on the half-hour mark with a tidy headed finish from close range.
The visitors hit back in the second-half when Sofia Cantore scrambled the ball over the line in controversial fashion after the ball appeared to go out of play in the build-up, but with no VAR in-use the goal stood.
