4/11 favourite Constitution Hill has won the Champion hurdle by nine lengths, ahead of State Man in second and Zanahiyr in third.
Last year’s Supreme Novices’ Hurdle winner was sat just behind the leader until two hurdles out before breaking out from the pack at an incredible speed.
Former Cheltenham winner State Man tried to stick with him but couldn’t keep up with arguably the best hurdler of all time.
Jockey Nico de Boinville said of Constitution Hill: ”He’s a superstar!” Meanwhile, legend of the sport Ruby Walsh added: ”He’s an absolutely incredible racehorse,” legend of the sport Ruby Walsh added.
