Cheltenham Town boss Michael Duff wins League Two manager of month

Cheltenham Town manager Michael Duff has won the League Two manager of the month for February.

The Robins won six of their seven games in month, including wins over promotion rivals Colchester United and Northampton Town.

The former defender wins the award for the second time having also won it in September.

“The award is recognition for the team doing well – it’s not about me – it’s about the XI who are out on the pitch at any one time, Duff said after winning the award.

“We have used our squad and different individuals have made an impact over the course of the month.

“The team has found a resilience and we’ve fallen the right side of some close games during the month.

Robins defender Chris Hussey was nominated for the player award but missed out to Northampton Town forward Callum Morton.
