Wodhooh has made it consecutive Festival victories after coming out on top in the Grade One Mares Hurdle.
After a tough opening two days, trainer Gordon Elliot has got off the mark with his first winner of this year’s Festival.
Jetara took an early lead and set a decent gallop with the field tightly grouped.
Wodhooh settled in mid-divison with Jade De Grugy and Feet of A dancer the backmarkers.
The outsider of the field Sunset Marquesa fell four from home, slightly hampering Jade De Grugy.
Coming around the home bend, Wodhooh took it up with Jade De Grugy tracking the mare closely.
Jumping the last there was just a length separating the pair but the former stayed on very impressively to secure victory.
