Bishops Cleeve manager Paul Collicutt is downplaying any promotion talk after their unbeaten start to the season in the Southern League Division One South.
Outside of the league, Cleeve face Farnham Town in the FA Trophy, who are also undefeated this season.
“I think everybody is looking forward to it. They had a very good result on Saturday, where they nearly knocked out an ex-league side in Sutton United.
“I believe it was a very entertaining game, and they had a crowd of over 2,500 there. So it will create a bit of interest.
“I’m also being told by one of my daughters that one of their players is an ex-Love Islander, which means absolutely nothing to me.”

The player Collicutt is referring to is Harry Cooksley, who featured on this year’s Love Island, finishing third in the reality show.
The Mitres are top of the league, going into their home match tomorrow against Swindon Supermarine, who are currently 11th.
“They got relegated from the Premier Division last season, and so there’ll be a team that’s going to be looking to jump back as soon as they can.
“There’s a little bit of rivalry between the two clubs. We’ve got one or two of their ex-players and they’ve got one or two of our ex-players.
“I’m expecting it to be a good game, I watched them play a couple of weeks ago and they’re a young side, they had a very good result on Saturday.

“They’re on a bit of a high at the minute. So, you know, I’m expecting a good, attractive game of football,” Collicutt said.
Cleeve have never been promoted to the Southern League Premier South, with the manager calling it “a dream” to be promoted.
“I’m just concerned about and focused on the game tomorrow night. I can’t talk about this or that, it would be wrong of me.”
