Tonight sees not just a local derby occur in Gloucestershire but a massive game in the fight for survival at the bottom of the Hellenic League Premier.
Longlevens (17th) host Lydney Town (18th) at Saw Mills with both sides looking to pull away from the drop zone.
Levens sit four points above the drop zone whilst Lydney are just a single point above struggling Brimscombe & Thrupp in 19th place.
Form hasn’t favoured either side heading into this fixture with Levens searching for a first win in five games, their last coming at the beginning of February against Abingdon United.
Lydney are looking for a first win in six games, last winning against SC Inkberrow in on New Year’s Day and have failed to score in all of their last three games.

You’d think home form would favour Levens, but the side have failed to win all of their last nine at home, last winning at Saw Mills back in October.
That was just one of three wins at home this season for Levens but Lydney on the road are no better losing all of their last four away from home.
Lydney have won just two games on the road this season against Thornbury Town and Highworth Town.
Boths side aren’t rich in front of goal either with Levens netting 43 goals and Lydney have beat the ‘keeper on 49 occassions.

Jordan Sheen has been Lydney’s firing man with eight goals this season whilst Levens’ top scorer, Finlay Gwillim, has found the net just six times.
The game will be covered live by Severn Sport and ahead of the game editor, Ryan Butler highlighted how important this fixture is to both sides.
“I don’t think you can really underestimate just how big this game is.
“For Longlevens, it’s a must win, for Lydney, they have enough games to still get out of trouble – but they will not want to lose.
“This fixture is typically physical and one that Lydney have a decent record in over the years.
“If Longlevens can replicate their performance level from Saturday they will get a result, but another 1-1 draw wouldn’t surprise me,” Butler said.
