Premier League: Chelsea 4-0 Everton

Venue: Stamford Bridge Date: Sunday 8th March KO: 14:00

Chelsea have beaten 12th place Everton 4-0 to go 5 points clear of Wolves in 5th.

Mason Mount opened the scoring for the Blues in the 14th with a lovely near post finish from inside the box. Pedro then doubled their lead as he capitalised off of a fantastic assist from ex-Everton man Ross Barkley. The third goal then came from a fantastic outside of the box strike from Willian. Finally, Olivier Giroud rounded off the scoring with a peculiar outside of the boot finish from a perfectly positioned Willian cross.

This is the fourth time that Chelsea have scored 4 goals in the premier league this season. It is also the sixth clean sheet that Chelsea have managed to keep in the league this year.

18 year old Scotsman Billy Gilmour wins today’s man of the match award, which makes it his second match in a row winning the award.
