England legend Marcus Trescothick has highlighted Somerset batsman Tom Banton as one of the future stars of English cricket.
The former Somerset opener did not hold back in heaping praise on the young batsman who he insisted is made for the big occasion.
Trescothick told Park Life Sport: “He loves the moment, the big noise, the opportunity to entertain. He’s that kind of character, who wants to enjoy himself and almost show off the skills that he has.”
Banton is currently playing in the Indian Premier League for Kolkata Knight Riders but is yet to make his debut for the side.
