All-rounder Ollie Price has agreed to extend his stay with Gloucestershire County Cricket Club until 2025 having impressed across the formats in the 2022 season.
Price scored the fourth most runs for Gloucester in List A cricket, averaging 26.63 across eight games at a strike rate of 92. The best of his performances coming against Surrey at the Oval in the One Day Cup, taking two wickets and scoring 45 runs as The Shire won by two wickets.
His strong performances weren’t limited to white ball cricket however, in the County Championship the young all-rounder scored just under 400 runs across eight appearances, including back to back 50s against West Country rivals Somerset in September.
Ollie, the younger brother of teammate Tom, shared his delight having extended his stay in Bristol. “I absolutely love playing for Glos, the Club has supported me so much and I’m very proud to represent Gloucestershire.”

“I feel privileged to be a part of this great Club and I can’t wait to make more contributions in a Glos shirt in the years to come and I’m excited to see what we can achieve as a team.”
Head coach Dale Benkenstein shared the 21-year-old’s glee at the agreed extended stay of one of the counties great young prospects.
“His off-spin and fielding add two more strings to his bow,” he said. “He’s someone that we are looking to develop over the next few years to become a regular in all formats.
“Delighted to have Ollie on board and we’re excited to see his progress over the next few years.”
