Hello and welcome to Park Life Sport as we recap on yet another exhilarating day of racing at the Cheltenham Festival, on a day where many punters will be left empty handed.
The Bookies have had a brilliant showing on day three of the races, with many losing out in the feature races as the favourites fell away from contention.
Early favourite Mighty Potter was the first to fall away in the opening race, which set the tone for the remainder of the day, with Stage Star putting in an impressive showing to power to victory.
Bookies’ favourite Shishkin would ended up finishing in second place, as a late mistake on the penultimate stage of the race scuppered any chances of a victory as Envoi Allen and Rachael Blackmore powered home to victory in the Ryanair Chase.
Sire Du Berlais then went on to win the 15:30 Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle as Flooring Porter would be hit by a disappointing end to a brilliant race, having led for the majority of the time.
Make sure to stay tuned to Park Life Sport for our coverage of Gold Cup on the final day of racing tomorrow.
