Forest Green Rovers travel to Halifax Town looking for a second consecutive win after tasting success against Maidenhead United on Saturday.
After a three game winless run in the league, FGR returned to winning ways after they defeated the Magpies 2-0 at The New Lawn.
Goals from Emmanuel Osadebe in the first half, before a clincher from Harry Cardwell ensured three points would be heading to Rovers.
Former Southend striker Cardwell will be itching for a return to the starting line-up after failing to start the Green last three appearances in the league.
Next up in the league is Halifax Town who are currently sat in sixth placed in the National League and have promotion ambitions of their own.
The Shaymen who have won four of their last seven games have had an extra week of rest over the Gloucestershire based side after their home fixture against Dagenham and Redbridge was postponed after a waterlogged pitch.
Rovers are sat nine points behind National League leaders Barnet with a game in hand and know that wins against fellow promotion candidates will test their credentials at the top of the table more than a Maidenhead side sitting in 22nd.
A strong run of form will stand them in good stead heading into the run-in whether the hosts will be fighting for the title or face the playoffs as they aim to return to the Football league at the first attempt.
