Corach Rambler has retained his title in the Festival Trophy Handicap Chase after a remarkably tight finish, narrowly beating Fastorslow.
Trained by Lucinda Russell and ridden by Derek Fox, Corach Rambler also won this race in 2022, with owners, The Ramblers, claiming that it was “A dream come true”.
On the achievement, Fox praised the horse, saying “He’s just a tremendous horse, he travelled a lot easier today than he did last year!”
Russell and Fox will next be in Cheltenham action at the main event of the week, the Gold Cup, as they look to receive the most prestigious award with their horse, Ahoy Senor.
