Tom Davies’ Cheltenham Town Ladies have announced the signing of young winger Daisy Ackerman on a contract until the end of the 2022/23 season.
The 19-year-old comes in to bolster the ranks at the Gloucestershire outfit who are currently looking to turn their fortunes around after a tough run of form in the league.
Ackerman played in the Arsenal Under-21’s set-up and has since gone on to have spells with fellow National League sides Oxford United and Bridgwater United.
The exciting winger is eligible for the Robinesses’ next game, which coincidentally comes against former side Bridgwater tomorrow evening.
She will also be available for Cheltenham’s much anticipated double header this weekend, as the men’s side host Exeter City at 15:00, whilst the women take on London Bees at 18:00. Both games will take place at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium.
