Cheltenham Festival Day Three Preview

It’s day three of the 2024 Cheltenham Festival today where the racecourse will be flooded with Irish for St Patrick’s Day.

Ahead of today, we’ll be previewing the races and sharing our tips for the day.

The Paddy Power Stayers Hurdle at 15:30 is the highlight race, however, the race of the day may come in the Mares Novices’ Hurdle at 16:40.

Below is the schedule in full and our tips for each race:

13:30 – Grade 1 Turners Novices’ Chase – Facile Vega outright

14:10 – Pertemps Network Final – Gaoth Chuil e/w

14:50 – Grade 1 Ryanair Steeplechase – Envoi Allen e/w

15:30 – Grade 1 Paddy Power Stayers Hurdle – Teahupoo NAP

16:10 – TrustATrader Plate – Shakem Up’Arry e/w

17:30 – Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup – Inotherwayurthikin outright

The day will start dry but there will be showers in the Cheltenham area by the afternoon.

The temperature is expected to be between 10 and 14C. Visibility is expected to be good.

And, the latest going report for this afternoon is soft on the New Course.
