Evesham Gloucestershire Live’s Jon Palmer believes the Robins stand a chase of upsetting their visitors:

“Leek are one level above Evesham on the pyramid,” explained Palmer. “It’s a testing draw for Neil Hunt’s side, but they will fancy their chances of causing an upset at home.”

Hunt’s side sit 15th in the BetVictor Southern Division One South, and after a mixed start to the season, will be hoping to challenge on all fronts, with a promotion push and potential cup run on the cards.

Meanwhile, after a great derby win over Mangotsfield, Cinderford are off to Berkshire for their next FA Trophy fixture.

Cinderford lie two places above Evesham United in the league, and face Isthmian League South Central Division outfit Bracknell Town in the next round.

“Cinderford have been leaking goals in the league, but they’ll be happy to have progressed in the Trophy,” said Palmer.

“It’s the same level opposition away for them; their main worry is the Wales lockdown affecting some of their players’ availability in the coming weeks.”

Wolverhampton Wanderers: Traore Close To New Deal

Foresters boss Steve Cleal was only appointed in July, after leaving fellow Gloucestershire side Bishops Cleeve, and is excited for the prospect of a good game.

“Ideally you want a home draw but it’s a game we will look forward to against a decent footballing side.”
