NBA season suspended until further notice:

The NBA has announced that all matches this season have been suspended until further notice, after Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert tested positive for Covid-19.

Three teams, including last season’s champions Toronto Raptors, have been told to self-quarantine after all recently playing the Jazz.

Lewis Hamilton calls Formula 1 plans “shocking”:

Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has described the decision to go ahead with this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix despite Coronavirus scares, as “shocking”.

Hamilton’s comments come after five F1 team members were told to self-quarantine after developing symptoms relating to the virus.

“We are seeing Trump shutting down the borders, the NBA has been suspended, yet F1 continues to go on. Cash is king.”

Wrestlemania in serious doubt after Trump’s travel restriction:

After US President Donald Trump announced a 30-day travel restriction on certain countries in Europe, Wrestlemania has been thrown into even more doubt.

The WWE were forced to release a statement addressing the situation, with the event know for its Worldwide audience. Fans from over 70 countries attended the event in 2019.

Despite WWE stating they remain confident in hosting the event in 24 days, reports released suggest that many of the talent work for the wrestling company believe the event will be cancelled.
