Gobert was believed to be diagnosed with the ever-spreading virus just moments before the Jazz’s meeting with Oklahoma Thunder on Wednesday night – the sides were ready for tip off which was then delayed and eventually called off.

In an official statement, the Jazz said: ” The individual’s symptoms diminished over the course of today, however in a precautionary measure, and in consultation and cooperation with N.B.A. medical staff and Oklahoma health officials, the decision was made to test for Covid-19.”
