Sire Du Berlais has won the Stayers Hurdle, ahead of Dashel Drasher in second and Teahupoo in third.
Flooring Porter led the pack from the start, but fell off after the last hurdle, which gave the opportunity for Sire Du Berlais to power through the pack to win the race at odds of 33/1.
Dashel Drasher, who had odds of 70/1 and the favourite, Teahupoo were almost inseparable in second and third, and it’s expected that there could be a change in that result.
Dashel Drasher’s trainer Jeremy Scott after race said: “He’s run his heart out and we couldn’t be more proud.”
