Cheltenham festival Live Blog: Coole Cody wins shock Plate Handicap Chase, Flooring Porter retains Stayers Hurdle and Bob Olinger wins dramatic Turners Novices’ Chase

Good morning everyone! Welcome back to another ParkLife Sport live blog with the Cheltenham races still at centre stage.

Yesterday was another brilliant day at Prestbury with Tiger Roll bowing out with a second placed finish in the 4:10 as Energumene wins in the 3:30 Queen Mother Champion Chase.

Today we’ll be bringing you all the reaction from a dramatic day yesterday and keep you up-to-date with all the build-up for today’s seven race meetings as Paisley Park looks to win the day’s headline race with a victory in the Stayers Hurdle, three years after taking his first win in the event three years ago.

We’ll be bringing you our best tips, tricks and guides live from the racecourse as our reporters on the ground come back to us with footage from the world famous racecourse.

Elsewhere in sporting news we will bring you the fallout from a big night of European football as European Champions Chelsea progressed into the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a 4-1 aggregate victory over Lille and Villarreal shocked Juventus.

We will be hearing from Cheltenham Town manager Michael Duff this morning as well as he previews his side’s League One clash against AFC Wimbledon at home on Saturday afternoon.

Nigel Pearson will also be talking to the press later this afternoon following Bristol City’s disappointing defeat away to Barnsley on Tuesday and the fixtures don’t get any easier as they face West Bromwich Albion this weekend.
