It’s the final day of the Cheltenham Festival where we see SEVEN races today, with the famous Gold Cup!
The main event was won by Inothewayurthinkin, as Galopin Des Champs missed out on a three-peat, and as a result, Willie Mullins’ four-event winning streak was also broken.
At 13:20, the day begin with the JCB Triumph Hurdle. Brighton owner Tony Bloom’s horse Poniros won the opening event. He made his Cheltenham debut today, and had the odds of 100/1.
The William Hill County Handicap Hurdle Race was won by favourite Kargese, with Paul Townend winning his fifth race at this year’s Cheltenham Festival.
The Mrs Paddy Power Mares’ Steeple Chase, after sitting in second place through the majority of the event, Dinoblue managed to win with Mark Walsh by quite a distance, especially after Allegorie De Vassy fell on the final hurdle with Paul Townend.
At The Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle Race, out of 20 horses, Townend got back to winning ways with Jasmin De Vaux.
