University of Gloucestershire 1’s travel to Plymouth today to try and secure the league title with a game to spare. They face Plymouth 1’s who currently sit bottom of the league with nothing to play for so all things considered there shouldn’t really be an issue.
Although Gloucestershire did find themselves in a very similar position this time last year where they did end up missing out on the league title.
Gloucester will be doing everything in their power to make sure they do not have a repeat of last year where as I’m sure Plymouth would love to cause an upset.

Adam Smith is one of Gloucestershire’s new recruits this season and has been in the first team all season. “It’s going to be a tough game and obviously there is a load of pressure” Even though Smith is a new recruit it shows that the attitude of the players who unfortunately missed out last year has rubbed off on him and they now know to go into every game like it’s your toughest game.
On the other hand Macsen Rhys-Williams, Jasper Hudson and James Blackman don’t seem too worried about the game and gave some very positive match predictions: “I think we’re going to pull through and win 3-0,
“I think Gloucester win 3-0,
“I’m going for 3-1 Gloucester”
Where you do have to be cautious and stay level headed in games like this, it is also key to be confident and you can see that Gloucester clearly are and rightly so.
Gloucester go into the game still unbeaten in the league this season where as Plymouth have only managed one win out of their last eight.
Kick off is just a couple of hours away now and I’m sure that team morale is higher than ever as they look to secure that precious league title.
