Inter Milan’s Federico Dimarco scores potential Puskas award winner vs Frosinone but faces competition from Cheltenham Town’s finest.

Federico Dimarco scored a potential Puskas award winning goal against Frosinone from 60 yards on Sunday night.

The wing-back collected the ball just inside the opposition half, before firing in a shot from the touchline, looping it over Frosinone goalkeeper Stefano Turati.

Dimarco has been in fine form for the Nerrazurri this season, registering two goals and four assists for Fillipo Inzaghi’s men, none better than this one however.

The strike will certainly be put forward for the prestigious award, but it may end up coming somewhere a bit closer to home…

Alfie May vs Peterborough:

Cheltenham went into their League One game against the Posh hoping to secure a point on the road, but ended up coming away from London Road with all three after a 3-0 win.

Alfie May was a huge contributor, scoring twice, but his first was a thing of beauty. He received the ball inside his half, flicking the ball over a defender before firing a volley in and after a couple of bounces it went past Will Norris in goal.

Elliott Bonds vs Cambridge

In a relegation six-pointer, Cheltenham took a second half lead against Cambridge thanks to a well struck shot from Elliot Bonds. The midfielder got on the end of a second ball before unleashing a wicked strike which flew past Dimitar Mitov into the top right corner.

Harry Kane vs Darmstadt:

A little further away, but from the England captain himself, Harry Kane has been in lethal form for Bayern Munich since joining in the summer, scoring 17 goals in 11 league games.

His goal against Darmstadt has certainly stood out from the rest, albeit against a side down to 10-men and already 4-0 down.

Kane received the ball in the centre circle, turning and catching goalkeeper Marcel Schuhen off his line to score from inside his own half, to give him his second goal on the way to a hattrick.
