“Hopefully we’ve got a good one on our hands” Fact To File Jockey Mark Walsh on Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase win

Fact To File jockey Mark Walsh was thrilled with the horse trained by Willie Mullins, who has now picked up his 99th Cheltenham win with Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase victory.

“It’s easy when your riding a horse like this round here, he jumped and travelled so well. He took me down the hill, i didn’t want to get there too soon, but he galloped on up the hill.

“This is a class horse now, he’s some class. It’s a great decsision by JP (Mcmanus) Hopefully, we’ve got a good one on our hands.”

Fact To File owner JP McManus who celebrated his 73rd birthday on Sunday, picked up his 75th winner at Cheltenham, McManus admitted he was on edge all race.

“I was nervous. I was. He was on his toes a bit before, and i think Mark (Walsh) did a great job to get him settled, and he’ll learn a lot from the race. It’s a relief. It’s all in front of him, he’s vindicated”

Fact To File is set to race in next year’s Gold Cup currently with odds at 9-1, after today’s performance, he’s certainly one to watch.
