Harry Kane has become Tottenham Hotspurs’ all-time leading goal scorer, scoring 267 goals in 416 appearances, overtaking Jimmy Greaves in the process.
Kane made his debut in the Premier League back in the 2012/13 season, coming on in the 86th minute for Brazilian midfielder Sandro in a 2-1 loss to Newcastle, aged just 19.
11 years later and Kane is arguable one of the most sort after players in his position with clubs such as Manchester City and Manchester United eager to spend hundreds of millions to land his signature.
Kane has spent his entire footballing career at Spurs, although he was an Arsenal academy gradate but was ultimately released from the red half of North London for being overweight.
Since his debut season back in 2012, Kane has scored over 20 league goals on five different occasions winning the golden boot three times in the process.
It isn’t just on the club level where Kane has excelled he is also one goal away from breaking England legend Wayne Rooney’s record to become England’s record leading goal scorer.
In terms of the Premier League Kane (200) is also on the verge of overtaking Rooney (208) once again, with the Spurs man just eight goals behind Rooney who is in second place.
Kane could still overtake first place Alan Shearer, but this remains unlikely with Shearer a massive sixty goals ahead of Kane and with the Spurs captain turning 30 in July he will start to decline as he ages.
Will Kane overtake Shearer and become the greatest goal scorer the Premier League has ever seen?
