Gloucester City have announced the first signing of the Mike Cook era with skilfull Brazilian winger Alefe Santos joining from fellow non-league side Poole Town.
Santos will link up with Gloucester boss Cook for the second season in a row, after the brazilian was part of Cooks’ Chippenham side last campaign.
Orginally born in Sao Paulo, the 28 year-old moved to England at the age of 12 where his football career began, after spells at Bristol Rovers, Yeovil , Aldershot and Chippenham Town have brought him to the TigerTurf stadium.
Speaking on the signing, Cook expressed his excitement saying, “He will bring plenty of creativity that we have been missing.
