Riders OnThe Storm has won all three races since Nigel Twisten-Davies took over his training in November 2019.
The horse heads to the Cheltenham Festival on Thursday in what is virtually a home event for Twisten-Davies.
Riders OnThe Storm will make his debut in the Cheltenham Ryanair Chase on Thursday. Flashback 12 months and the horse made his first appearance in Cheltenham but fell at the 6th fence in his event.
Looking ahead to his event on Thursday, Twisten-Davies expects it to be Riders OnThe Storm toughest task.
“He’s been improving this year and is in great form. He had a very good race at Ascot, that was a high class race. As is the Ryanair chase this week,” a trainer at Nigel-Twisten Davies said.
“It’s going to be his toughest task yet, but he’s there with every chance. He seems in good form, his last race was only three weeks ago and he looks good since. He’ll be going there with a real chance,” he added.
Bet365 have placed Riders OnThe Storm as the fourth favorite to win the Ryanair chase at 7/1.
