In the first race of the Ladies Day at Cheltenham festival, favourite Envoi Allen was victorious with a dominant home stretch in the 1.30 race.
At 4-7, Envoi Allen was the leading contender by a long way, but he didn’t take the lead until the home stretch of the second circuit.

Easy Work and The Big Getaway completed the all-Irish top three in that order, with the latter taking the lead for the majority of the race but getting caught up in the final part.
“Fantastic, what a marvelous horse he is!” winning jockey Davy Russell told ITV Sport. “When he settles, he runs in neutral. Sometimes, it’s difficult to know when to push him, but when he turns is on he’s just brilliant.”
