Cheltenham Festival day two: Bob Olinger wins Ballymore Novice’s Hurdle

The odds on favourite Bob Olinger 15/8 has won the Ballymore Novice’s Hurdle in the first race of the day at Cheltenham as the Irish continue to dominate.

Bob Olinger, ridden by Racheal Blackmore won by a distance followed by Gaillard Du Mensil in second and Bravemansgame in third and Blackmore says she’s overwhelmed with pride after another victory at Prestbury Park.

“Unbelievable, I’m so delighted for him. His potential is sky high and anyone who’s ever been associated with him should take pride in this win because winning at Cheltenham is what it’s all about.”

Blackmore’s victory comes after her success yesterday, when she became the first female jockey to win the Champions Hurdle.
