Covid has put a premature end to Gloucester Rugby’s season after Northampton Saints had to pull out yesterdays game due to a COVID outbreak.
After Northampton Saints forfeit the match, Gloucester go away with a 20-0 bonus point win, and five league points.
Despite the automatic win for the cherry and whites, it seems a hollow victory.
Gloucester finish seventh in the Gallagher Premiership table.
As well as the implications of COVID, Gloucester have also been faced with other changes this season, including the departure of head coach, Johan Ackermann.
