Gloucester City host Chester in the Vanarama National League North at Meadow Park on Tuesday evening looking to secure safety in the division
Currently in 18th position and four points off the drop, The Tigers are set to maintain their place in the division but face a Chester side who have won two on the spin. Manager Lee Mansell will look to build on last week’s 2-1 victory at Bradford Park Avenue with another victory this week.
With the release of their new 3-year Kappa kit deal for next season, Gloucester Sport CEO Jay Marriott has been impressed with the samples the club has received so far, commenting, “We are really excited to be joining forces with Kappa. We have a great relationship with them through the Gloucester City Queens on the basketball side so it made sense to collaborate once again on the football side,”.

The last time City won consecutive games was back at the tail end of November when they beat Kettering Town 3-0 in the FA Trophy second round and a week later followed that up with a 2-0 victory over Spennymoor Town.
Mansell will surely feel his side has done enough to avoid relegation if they can secure another victory tomorrow night with just nine games remaining of the season and with the likes of new loan signing Archie Matthews from Swindon Town between the sticks, the signs are looking positive for City.
Kick off is scheduled for 7:45PM
