Horse Racing: Dan Skelton’s Double Delight at Sandown Park

Jockey Dan Skelton has won back to back Grade One’s at Sandown Park, as fans returned to the track following easing of coronavirus restrictions.

Skelton rode Allmankind, trained by his brother Harry Skelton, to victory in the Henry VIII Novices’ Chase and Politilogue, trained by Paul Nicholls, to the Tingle Creek.

Politilogue went off as 11/8 favourite after two time Champion Chase winner Altior was withdrawn due to the soft ground.

Elsewhere, the David Pipe trained Vieux Lion Rouge, has won the Beecher Handcicap at Aintree, beating Kimberlite Candy in second by 24 lengths.
