Tottenham face an uphill battle in Germany

RB Leipzig vs Tottenham will go ahead despite COVID-19 scares across Europe. Spurs head into their last 16 second leg against the German side, 1-0 down after the first fixture.

Jose Mourinho has said, his team will “have to give everything” if they are to qualify for the quarter finals.

They will be without key players; Harry Kane, Steven Bergwijn, Ben Davies, Moussa Sissoko and Hueng Min- Son. Whilst Leipzig still have their main man Timo Werner leading the line, despite a scare in their 0-0 draw with Wolfsburg at the weekend. Tottenham’s backs are definitely against the wall.

However, Mourinho’s confidence is still high, which he believes wouldn’t be the case if the shoe was on his counter-parts foot, “I am very motivated, very calm, very positive,

”But if you want to imagine Leipzig without Werner, [Patrik] Schick, [Christopher] Nkunku, [Yussuf] Poulsen, [Emil] Forsberg I am pretty sure the coach [Julian Nagelsmann] would not be laughing as much as I am now.”

Bookmakers have Leipzig as the favourites with BET365 offering odds of 4/7. Whilst they have Tottenham at 17/4.
