Brighton FOOTBALL Premier League

MATCH PREVIEW: Brighton & Hove Albion V Liverpool

Liverpool travel to the AMEX stadium in today’s early Premier League kick off to face an out of favour Brighton & Hove Albion, as the Reds look to close the gap on league leaders Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp’s men currently sit six points behind the Citizens, with a game in hand on their rivals. Playing twice this game week, with a trip to the Emirates to face Arsenal on Wednesday night, Liverpool will look to pick up maximum points from their remaining league fixtures, having won their last seven in the competition.

The hosts however have struggled for form of late, without a win in their last four fixtures in the league, losing all four and scoring just one goal in the process. Graham Potter’s men will face a tough test on their own patch this afternoon, as they prepare to take on a stellar forward trio of Mohammed Salah, Luiz Diaz and Saido Mane, who have a combined 43 goal involvements already this season.

Klopp has shaken off reports this week that star man Salah wants to leave the club this summer saying “It is all good, there is no situation with Mo (Salah)” and has said his focus is fully on this weekends game, following their consolation 1-0 defeat to Inter Milan at Anfield on Tuesday night.
