Life Cycle UK confirmed as Gloucestershire Cricket official charity partner

Life Cycle will join as a charity partner alongside CLIC Sargent and Broaderlands as one of the three charities associated with the club.

Life Cycle are a charity who transform lives and the environment through cycling. The charity look to help people to find the social, physical and environmental benefits of cycling.

Gloucestershire Cricket CEO Will Brown is pleased with the chosen charity for the season. He said:

It is very exciting for the Club to be engaging with such a fantastic local charity. Life Cycle are a unique charity and the work they do is impressive and makes a genuine difference in the community. 

As well as being a key charity within the local community, Life Cycle also train prisoners as bicycle mechanics to help them build their skill set to help with seeking employment upon release. This also runs alongside an ‘inclusive cycling’ program that help members of the community feel less isolated.

Whilst Life Cycle CEO Ed Norton are excited with the exposure that this partnership will bring. He said:

Partnering with such a well-known local institution will really put Life Cycle on the map and help us reach even more people who could benefit from our services or support our work. We also look forward to helping the Club reach its sustainability goals by supporting and promoting cycling.”
