“I’ve got that feeling we’re getting close” UOG Men’s Ben Brown hopeful of league title ahead of final home game of the season

UOG Men’s 1’s have had a fantastic season so far and are still unbeaten in their league campaign. They’ve played seven games and have only dropped points once and this has led to them “”Enjoying the challenge and hopefully can get over the line in a few weeks time”.

Starting centre half Ben Brown is clearly one of these happy faces and expressed how much he has been loving the game at the moment.

Gloucester only have three games left in the season and are currently one point behind top of the table.

They currently have two games in hand though which has everyone in very good spirits around the club.

Gloucester also found themselves in a similar position last season where they unfortunately just missed out on promotion but Brown and the rest of team are more focused than ever knowing that feeling of falling at the last hurdle.

Gloucester host Exeter men’s 4’s this Wednesday and a win would put them at the top spot and in a fantastic position for the remainder of the season.

“It’s a must win game this week” All the players know how important this game is and a loss could really start to put some pressure on.

“This year we are more well rounded” Ben made it clear that he is more confident about this years team compared to last and didn’t really seem too worried about the tense end of the season.

Gloucester go into this weeks game coming off a comfortable 3-0 win against Plymouth 1’s with goals coming from Dylan Venn, Adam Smith and a wonderful freekick by Macsen Rhys-Williams.

Everything is in Gloucester’s hands now and only they can stop themselves now from winning the league and clinching promotion this season. It’s gonna be an interesting three weeks and very exciting for every one involved.
