Manchester United loanee Ethan Williams was delighted to get his first home goal for Cheltenham Town in a 1-1 draw against Grimsby Town.
Williams sent the Robins 1-0 up on Saturday, which took his goal tally to two goals in two weeks after scoring his first professional goal in South Wales against Newport County last week.

“It was my first goal at home; I was proper chuffed, I ran straight to the crowd, it was fun”
This is the first loan move the young United player has had during his career, and he is determined to gain the experience and impress his parent club.
“It’s all about experience, I’m a young player and it’s my first loan, so to just get experience under my belt is the aim.
“In academy football, my game has always been to create and score goals that’s my main job as an attacking wide player. In the academy, I tried to do that to the best of my ability, and now having to adapt that to men’s football is very difficult but it has gone well so far and hopefully that continues”
Cheltenham Town travel to Bradford tomorrow night in a Sky Bet League Two fixture.
“They’re in really good form, but so are we; It should be a really good game and we will be ready to try and get the result.
“The whole family are coming to watch and all my friends. It’s a long way to Cheltenham from Manchester, but they have been coming to watch me, Bradford is a lot different it’s 15 or 20 thousand so it’s going to be very different.”
“I’ve played in front of big crowds before, think it was in Norway, my first professional game was in front of 35 thousand, It’s a moment I will never forget”
