Ethon Archer believes teams are beginning to fear Cheltenham Town ahead of tonight’s League Two fixture against Notts County at the EV Charger Points Stadium.
The Robins are currently unbeaten in League Two under new manager, Steve Cotterill and have picked up 11 points from his first four games in charge.
“I feel like teams will fear us and rightly so,” Said Archer, speaking on Town’s change of form.
“We have been on great form, and we have been performing really well and to our high standards which is expected of us.”
Despite recent form for the Robins, the wide-man is expecting a tough evening against a Notts County team, who sit just outside the play-off places.
“They are a very good team; they are very organised and from what I remember last season they like to move the ball well and efficiently.
“That’s something we have got to nullify, and we have been working hard on that and will keep on working until Monday.”
Archer reflected on previous meetings with the Magpies, including a memorable 2-1 victory at Meadow Lane where Archer scored the winning goal with a bending effort from 25 yards.
“I feel like we played we well that game, I do remember that game, away from home and it was very nice to scoring the 90th minute winner and it was quite some goal to be honest.

“But that was a very good game and very good experience.”
Archer also explained the instructions he has received from Cotterill and the changes in his role.
“He still wants me to get into one v ones and get in good areas, but it has made my game much simpler.
“It involves everyone it’s like a butterfly effect of what I do then it helps the next person and the next person after that. And it helps us to move the ball better and that’s what the fans want.”
Archer is currently back on loan at the Robins after making the move to Luton Town on transfer deadline day.

The winger has regular conversations with his parent club and makes sure to keep a close eye on their results.
“I speak to them regularly obviously, I see how they are getting on, I look at all their scores there.
“But my focus is on Cheltenham, I can only control what is happening right now so I just try and focus on right now just playing and when Luton comes, it comes, and I have to deal with that then.“
Coverage from the EV Charger Points Stadium begins at 19.30pm on Sky Sports Football.
