As we see more fashion feeding into the sporting world, the British horse racing scene is where practicality meets prestige, and the Cheltenham Festival is just the place to see the best-dressed punters.
This year many trends are running throughout the Festival, including longer coats and fur, which fit in with the brisk Cotswold conditions.
(Left) Sporting stunning Oval-frame Gold-tone and Tortoiseshell Acetate Sunglasses from Celine Eyewear which have a current RRP of £440 and provides a luxurious sleek addition setting the warm tone throughout the whole outfit. On the right, she has added a pop of colour with a Maroon Fedora from Heyfield England which compliments the subdued Holland Cooper Fur Cape.
Younger attendees bring fresh looks to the Festival, as two-piece co-ords are in style with skirts and waistcoats bringing the “clean girl” aesthetic matched with suede shin-high boots.
A great 2025 trend is adding a burst of colour, as racegoer Amy Hicks, opts for Fuchsia accents and a matching pink lip to compliment another Fur coat moment at the Festival. The hat is a sought-after Fuchsia Beaumont pillbox from Hicks and Brown’s 2021 collection.
Kildare influencer Katie Young‘s outfit features a beautiful British racing green Viscose Blend Military Knit Longline Cape from Karen Millen which originally went for £294, partnered with a subtle black Kate Spade Madison Small Satchel with the RRP of £379.
Deirdre Penrose celebrates Kopek Des Bordes’ Supreme Novice Hurdle win in a Fashion Nova Light Blue Claudette Floral Embroidered Suit Set to bring a spring seasonal feel in early March.
More to follow tomorrow for day two of the Cheltenham Festival.
