Tewkesbury Town look set to take a step up the footballing pyramid following their application to join the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League.
The Tewkesbury-based club currently play in Division One North of the Cheletenham Association League but have made plans to gain promotion at the end of the season.
Club Secretary Marc Lane is leading the campaign and has already secured numerous grants of up to £4,000 for renovations to the pitch and ground.

Tewkesbury need to finish in the top two of their current division for their aspirations to be fulfilled, they currently sit fourth in the league just two points of top spot.
