The Premier League have this morning announced that the season has been suspended until at least April 4th due to the spread of Coronavirus.
An emergency meeting was called for this morning after late last night it was revealed that Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta tested positive for COVID-19.
Arsenal’s visit to Brighton and Hove Albion was then postponed under an hour after the announcement, and it was then revealed this morning that Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi had also contracted the virus, but has made a full recovery.
Chelsea players have been put into self isolation, following the same measures that Leicester, Arsenal and Everton have also done.
AFC Bournemouth announced this morning that five staff members, including goalkeeper Artur Boruc, have also been put into isolation after showing symptoms of the virus.
