Cheltenham Town received a bye into the first round through being a tier three side, whilst FGR, Gloucester, Bristol Rovers and Worcester City all had to go through qualifying to make the first round proper.

Forest Green beat Royal Wootton Bassett Town 3-1 to book their place in the next round, whilst Gloucester City beat AFC Stoneham 2-0 away from home.

Tier Four side Bristol Rovers comfortably beat Marine Academy Plymouth Ladies 6-1, and Worcester City won 2-0 against Stanground Cardea Sports.

The first round of the FA Cup is regionalised, meaning there is a very real possibility of a local derby in the cup.

All the Gloucestershire teams have been placed into Group 3, with 48 clubs in the group. The group includes plenty of tier three opposition, including league leaders AFC Bournemouth. Worcester City have been drawn into Group 2 and will face a Midlands side

Trips to London could also be on the cards, with Fulham, Millwall Lionesses, London Bees and Dulwich Hamlet all in the same group.

The draw takes place from 7 pm tonight.
