Welsh Under-19 international Amelie Curtis admits the 2-0 defeat to Plymouth Argyle yesterday was a tough result to take, believing the team were competitive for the majority of the game.
Curtis has started every game this season after re-joining the Robinesses on a permanent basis after her successful loan spell at the end of last season.

Curtis said: “obviously it’s a difficult one to take, we were in the game and we caused them problems, but a goal right before half-time always changes the game as everyone knows.”
After a difficult 2024/25 campaign, Plymouth have had a change in fortune.
Nearly half of their squad have gone full-time now, with a brand-new manager Marie Hourihan and her new backroom staff.
Her teammate and former Welsh Under 19 international Anais Trinci agreed with Curtis and believes there were positives to take from the game.
“It’s just the final pass we were missing today. Our build is working quite well and when we have that quality in the final third, but we just couldn’t create that clear-cut chance.
“It is just that quality we lacked today and getting bodies in the box. We needed to expose them and create those chances, which Louise did when she came on.”
Next up for Cheltenham is an away trip to AFC Wimbledon, who have struggled so far this campaign.
They picked up their first three points of the season against Billericay Town on Sunday, with Billericay rooted to the bottom of the table.
Looking ahead to next weekend, Trinci said “It’ll be a tough game, but I think it’s an opportunity for us to put a stamp down on the season.
“We’ve had a lot of tough games at the start of this season playing probably all of what will be the top five and it’s been fine margins. I’m hoping that when we play Wimbledon that we can kind of prove a point to everyone.”
