Champion Chase leading contender Chacun Pour Soi has been ruled out for the Cheltenham Festival’s main event on Wednesday due to a Vets Certificate.
The other favourite for the race Altior had already been confirmed to miss the 3.30 race at the Cheltenham Racecourse as he failed to recover from lameness.

Chacun Pour Soi’s absence is another big blow for six-time Festival leading trainer Willie Mullins, who was looking to get back to winning ways after getting left empty-handed on Tuesday.
With heavyweights Altior and Chacun Pour Soi both pulling out, Defi is now the overwhelming favourite at 5/4 odds.
